HACCP Consulting s.r.o. operates at the intersection of scientific research, food legislation, and industry practice. The company provides professional consultancy, expert assessments, training programs, and technical advisory services for food business operators, laboratories, and academic institutions.

Through the publication of Scifood, the publisher supports the dissemination of high-quality scientific research in food science, food safety, food technology, quality management, and related interdisciplinary fields. Although Scifood applies Article Processing Charges (APCs), the journal operates as a non-commercial academic project aimed at supporting and promoting food science research. APCs are used exclusively to cover the journal’s operational costs, including editorial management, peer-review administration, language editing, technical processing, digital publishing infrastructure, website maintenance, archiving, and indexing services. The publisher does not distribute profits from APC revenue.

The publisher fully respects the principle of editorial independence. Editorial decisions, peer-review outcomes, and manuscript evaluations are made independently of the publisher and are governed solely by the journal’s editorial structure and policies.
